CURRENT EVENTS


TITLE: Fire hydrant sends water spout 8m high.

WHEN:It happened on the 5th of july.

WHO: The people that were involved were the people that were round the time it happened, the police and also the people who came too check the water hydrant.

WHERE: It happened  in auckland O'Rorke Road, Penrose

WHAT: There was a water hydrant that exploded like the water came shooting out of the pipe. The people that were around that time were just watching the water come out. The water that came shooting out was like 8m high. The pressure was dangerous.

WHY or HOW it happened: It happened because the water hydrant burst out into the carpark.

What do you think the author wanted you to learn from this article?
I think the author wanted us to learn was to be careful around water pipes because if the water pipe burst out then the pressure from the water can be dangerous.
