Maths Activity

As you can see I got all of my answers right. The maths questions were hard but I managed to get them all right. I also got a trophy for a reward. Today we were learning about BODMAS.  It stands for brackets, other things, division, multiplication, addition, and subtraction.

Day out with Friends😊

On Tuesday I went Sylvia Park with Lavinia and we also watched a movie. We watched Mortal Instruments. It was a awesome movie. Before the movie Lavinia and I went to Packnsave and bought some snacks and by snacks we just got a jumbo packet of malteasers, favourites box and fizzy drinks. When you walked into the cinema there were some people that were handing out free paddle pop ice-creams. In the cinema Lavinia and I sat at the back and we also saw some people from school their to. After the movie we then walked to the food court and had lunch then we walked around and saw more people from school walking around. Around 5:00 more of our friends came and we played around and we didn't go home till 7 because we were playing in the arcade and just been walking around. That was so fun and was also very funny.

Birthday party

 

Today I went to my cousins best friends birthday. It was in panmure and we did bowling and laser strike. I wasn't good at bowling but I came first at laser strike. For laser strike I was in a red team because it was pairs against everyone else and I was with my friend. My friend and I were the only girls and we won. After we played laser strike we then went to the arcade and played games with the tokens we got. I played basketball and other games to. We then had lunch and had another round of the laser strike because in the first round 2 of the guns weren't working so we got to play again. Everyone had fun and were all tired because of the laser strike. We all got ready and went home.😊😁😉

Cossey/Massey Loop Trail

This is my Prezi about the Cossey/Massey Loop Trail in the Hunua Ranges. During our walk around this trail we had to disinfect our shoes several times. Because of this we learnt about the Kauri dieback and why it is important to protect our trees from this disease. 

Key Competencies Presentation

This is a presentation I have completed. It is about the key competencies. We had to fill our every slide but only the parts on the left hand side. We had to do the right hand side after we come back from camp.

This is a Poster on This Land. I created a This Land Production Poster to persuade people to come and watch our school production. 

Year 7/8 Camp 2013

This is my animoto movie I have created. It shows some pictures of when the year 7 and 8's were at camp. It was very fun and all the activity's we did were awesome and the instructors were great at teaching us.
